So it's time to give thanks to Shai-Hulud, once again, that Hack One and his idiot friend Frank Herbert's Son had nothing whatsoever to do with the classic Dune boardgame. Nor will their input be needed for the upcoming Twilight: Dune.
Bless the Maker and all His Water. Bless the coming and going of Him, May His passing cleanse the world. May He keep the world for his people.

"We're still working on "REX" which is the "Dune" system set in the Twilight Imperium universe. At this point, this is looking like an early 2010 release (so it will not make it for next year) -- primarily due to all the plastic that we're planning for it.
The plans for Borderlands would then be to release the new version of that in 2011.
Lots of plastic, huh? I'm liking the sound of that. Bring it on, FFG!
You could have said 3010 and I'd have at least been happy to be able to call it something other than Twilight Dune or Dune Imperium.
2010 is definitely good enough though.
REX, as in Mecatol Rex, the central planet of the TI series?
Rex as in Tyrannosaurus. They're adding dinosaurs to this version of the game.
Yes! Finally I can awaken my inner Valorian.
