A quick note, then my favorite word

First, you've just to love a game that makes people want to say things — to potentially millions of other people — such as this:
I'm the ruler of the universe! MUWAHAHAHAHA!#@!#
Now, part II: it's time for a hiatus. What a wonderful word; it ranks right up there with "plethora" and "penultimate." Anyway, there's too much RL going on right now, so the 'ol blog is on hiatus until at least next Tuesday.

I'm interested to know how a Thursday-to-Tuesday gap (5 days, depending on timezone) is a hiatus, while the blog's been without activity for longer than that a bunch of times.

Also, "kerfuffle".

Feel free to start your own blog, smart-ass.

You should, Toomai. This guy's no good.

Banned.

Both of you: banned.

Also: "quintessential."

I can't do blogs; I'm terrible at starting conversations (which is what a blog is in a way).

And I wasn't complaining about the hiatus, just making an observation.

Actually, Toomai, you raise an interesting point, and one that will be discussed more next week. Although I've tried to make this humble little site fairly conversational -- I use a very informal writing style, for one example -- it will be shifting to a **more** conversational style beginning next week. The reasons will be pretty obvious.

More next week. And it's not much of a hiatus if I keep responding to comments, is it?
